The design of the estate embraces the lay of the land, with a modern three-story clubhouse conveniently positioned at the entrance and high point of the estate. The golf course meanders away from the clubhouse and surrounding plots are unobtrusively positioned away from the course. At the end of the front nine, a well-stocked halfway house can be enjoyed before resuming your round on the back nine. Besides golf, residents and guests can enjoy a number of activities throughout the estate including cycling, running, swimming, volleyball, tennis, pétanque and a children’s recreational area.
Chef Hans and his team will enchant you with the quality and variety of culinary options, or accommodate any request for large groups. Specialty Creole dishes, with a European twist, are the order of the day; crafted using locally sourced fresh produce. The diverse menu will appease any appetite, ranging from fresh salads for the health-conscious to a gourmet burger or panini for the hungrier guests. For the more refined palate, a delicious local curry is always a crowd pleaser or a Magret de canard from our signature plates. Our sommelier will be delighted to pair some wines, handpicked from across the globe, to complement your dish of choice.
Was there with family and we had a superb tasty well served lunch.The road is rather long but the setting is exceptional, with beautiful views on sunny days. The restaurant and staff are attentive, friendly and serve really well. We do not forget the golf estate as well; one of the best (and maybe windiest) in Mauritius.

We had our wedding reception at Magic Spoon. The menu was Jain vegetarian which exceeded our expectations for a non-vegetarian restaurant. We truly appreciate the effort of Keshav, Jaynita and their team. Our heartfelt thank you again.
The Avalon Golf Estate is located in a very chilly and naturally preserved area. Entering the compound, you are welcomed by an alley of tea crops which is pleasing to the eyes. The Magic Spoon restaurant offers a perfect panorama of the golf course. The food is succulent and on point served in ceramic pots which enhances the premium feel. The venison meat is a must have for the gourmets. Service is dynamic and relatively fast. On overall it is a very comfortable and premium experience in a cosy to enjoy a delicious meal.
Had lunch there and really liked the experience. The deer salmi was really tasty and moist, and the sweet potato gnocchi was equally flavourful. The table was also decorated for my partner's birthday. We didn't have any dessert, so I don't know if it would have come with a presentation. After lunch, you can do a tour of the grounds, which we did. Despite the poor weather, it was beautiful!

The Bunker is a smaller, cosier option for functions, with a more relaxed feel (80 pax maximum).
